Mexico will make an immediate water delivery to Texas farmers to address shortfalls under a water-sharing treaty with the U.S., which has strained relations and prompted tariff threats from President Donald Trump. Mexico is seeking alternatives to comply with the treaty and has already proposed solutions to U.S. officials. The treaty requires Mexico to send 1.75 million acre-feet of water to the U.S.
