💨 Abstract
Moldova's breakaway Transdniestria region expects to receive Russian gas soon to alleviate a two-week-long power crisis. The gas suspension was due to a $709 million unpaid Moldovan debt that Russia's Gazprom cites. Transdniestria's leader Vadim Krasnoselsky hopes for negotiations' successful outcome for gas supply to meet citizens' needs, heat, power generation, and industrial purposes.
