💨 Abstract
In Mexico's Sinaloa state, rival factions of the Sinaloa Cartel have been clashing since Sept 9, resulting in 53 deaths and 51 missing persons. The violence, which has disrupted daily life in Culiacan, stemmed from the arrest of legendary trafficker Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada in the US in July.
