💨 Abstract
NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, on his first visit to the alliance's Ukraine mission in Wiesbaden, pledged continued support for Ukraine against Russian threats. The mission, NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU), will gradually take over the coordination of Western military aid to Kyiv from the U.S. The move is seen as an effort to safeguard the aid mechanism against a potential return of NATO critic Donald Trump.
