Former Nepal Deputy Prime Minister Rabi Lamichhane was granted bail for the second time, this time in connection with the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative fraud case. He is accused of misappropriating NRs 1.19 billion alongside 38 accomplices. This is the second time Lamichhane has been released on bail for cooperative fraud cases. He had earlier been released on NRs 6.5
