On Monday, the death toll from a fuel truck explosion in Nigeria's Dikko, Niger State, reached 98, with 69 people hospitalized. The tragedy occurred on Saturday when people were scooping fuel from the overturned and exploded petrol truck. This is the deadliest incident since a similar one in Jigawa State in October, which claimed 147 lives.
