💨 Abstract

North Korea has destroyed sections of inter-Korean roads and railways on its side of the border with South Korea, escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula. The South Korean military responded with warning shots but no damage was reported. Pyongyang had previously threatened to cut off the inter-Korean links and fortify the border.
