The Norwegian LO trade union is urging Norway's $1.8 trillion wealth fund to divest from companies operating in the occupied Palestinian territories, citing breaches of international law. The union, aligned with the governing Labour Party, wants the fund to disinvest from firms that have activities in these territories, following Israel's ongoing policy and conflicts in Gaza and the West Bank. The Israeli embassy in Oslo did not immediately comment.
