💨 Abstract

At the NTT R&D Forum in Tokyo, groundbreaking advancements in telecommunications were presented, focusing on the Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN) technology. IOWN has the potential to revolutionize data transmission with high-speed capabilities, massive capacity, and reduced energy consumption. The roadmap for IOWN includes four main categories, with the first phase currently driving advancements in data center communication.
