💨 Abstract

On December 29, a Pakistan paramilitary soldier was killed and 11 others were injured in firing by the Afghan Taliban forces at Pakistan border posts. The attack occurred in the Upper Kurram district and was reportedly an unprovoked attack on multiple Pakistani posts. Pakistani forces retaliated, causing significant losses on the Afghan side, with seven to eight Afghan personnel killed.
