💨 Abstract

Amnesty International has criticized a heavy-handed police crackdown on Baloch protesters in Lyari, Karachi, during a peaceful mobilization campaign organized by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC). The protest aimed to raise awareness for Baloch rights, but was met with excessive force. Nine male protesters, including the BYC's Central Deputy Organizer, remain in detention without charges.
