The Jaffar Express train hijacking in Balochistan, Pakistan, has been concluded, with 33 rebels killed and no passengers injured in the final operation. The attack on March 11 resulted in the death of 21 passengers before the operation. The rebels were in contact with their supporters in Afghanistan during the operation, and about 200 passengers were rescued. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed to have executed 50 additional captives on board.
