Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan's Amir, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, and party officials have been accused of organizing an unauthorized gathering in Sahiwal, causing disruptions for hospital patients. During the protest, Rehman criticized the current political system as repressive, run by a small elite class, and accused the MQM-P and PPP of exploiting the people of Karachi.
