Pakistan has closed specific portions of Karachi and Lahore Flight Information Regions daily from 4:00 am to 8:00 am local time during May, due to security concerns amid heightened tension with India following the Pahalgam terror attack. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) stated that the closure will not significantly affect commercial flight operations, as aircraft will be rerouted via alternative flight paths during restricted hours.
