In Pakistan, the city of Karachi is facing a health crisis due to contaminated drinking water. The Sindh province's health department found pathogenic bacteria in water samples collected from February to April, causing a diarrhoea outbreak, particularly affecting children under five. This has led to over 2,000 cases of diarrhoea each month at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) Hospital.
