💨 Abstract
Pakistan and India exchanged lists of their nuclear installations and prisoners on January 1. This exchange is part of a 1988 agreement to prevent attacks on nuclear facilities and a 2008 consular access agreement. Pakistan provided India with a list of 257 Indian prisoners, including 199 fishermen and 58 civilians. Both countries are required to exchange prisoner lists twice a year.
