In Pakistan's Karachi, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) officials are under investigation for allegedly staging a water crisis in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13 D-2, causing prolonged water shortages for residents. Many areas have faced water cutoffs for over a year, forcing residents to buy expensive tanker water or use contaminated underground water.
