💨 Abstract
Pakistan's coalition government, led by the Pakistan Muslim League (N), has proposed constitutional amendments for the establishment of a Constitutional Court. The new court will have seven members, including the Chief Justice, and will be able to deliver legally binding decisions. The Chief Justice will be appointed by a retired senior judge, while the Attorney General, Law Minister, and a representative from the Pakistan Bar Council will also be part of the court.
