💨 Abstract

In Pakistan, an estimated 75-85% of women in the Dawoodi Bohra community undergo Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), a practice largely unacknowledged and unchecked, with girls often undergoing the procedure at a young age. Performed in private homes or by medical professionals, the practice continues in secrecy, with comprehensive national data on FGM nonexistent.
