Pakistan's Punjab province has banned entry to parks, zoos, and public spaces to combat polluted air, and may close universities to reduce vehicle emissions. Lahore, the provincial capital, is the world's most polluted city, according to Swiss air purification equipment maker IQAir. The province has set up a "smog war room" to monitor and address pollution, but lacks adequate equipment.
