💨 Abstract

Iran launched over 200 ballistic missiles towards Israel on October 2, which the US condemns. The US Navy destroyers supported Israel's defense by firing a dozen interceptors against incoming Iranian missiles. Israel was able to intercept the majority of incoming missiles, and no US personnel were harmed. The US remains "well-postured" in the Middle East to defend its forces and Israel.
