💨 Abstract
Peruvian Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen resigned on Tuesday, ahead of a censure vote over rising crime and the killing of 13 miners. President Dina Boluarte, who has an approval rating of just 2%, must now replace her entire cabinet. Earlier that day, Boluarte replaced her economy and interior ministers. These changes come amid increasing pressure to tackle crime and less than a year before presidential elections. Presidential reelection is prohibited in Peru.
