💨 Abstract
The Philippines has deployed its vessels and aircraft to monitor a massive Chinese Coast Guard ship, the largest in the world, near Luzon Island, expressing concern over its presence within their waters. The ship, known as "The Monster," was spotted about 54 nautical miles from Capones Island and has been linked to Chinese claims over Scarborough Shoal, a disputed area within the Philippines' exclusive economic zone in the South China Sea.
