Israel is bolstering Kiryat Shmona, a city near the Lebanon border affected economically by Hezbollah attacks, with two major plans led by the Israel Land Authority. The plans aim to develop the eastern part of the city with 6,800 new housing units, 900,000 sqm for employment, food tech, commercial space, public buildings, and open spaces.
