Residents in Astore, Pakistan-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan, are enduring hardship due to extreme snowfall that has cut off road access between villages and caused displacement. The district administration's failure to address urgent public needs has resulted in one fatality and numerous patients being stranded without medical treatment.
