💨 Abstract
Ad-hoc government employees in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) protested for the implementation of a 2021 law that promised permanent positions. They expressed frustration over being treated unfairly compared to employees in other parts of Pakistan, who have already been regularized. The protesters criticized both local and national authorities for focusing on political strategies instead of addressing development issues, causing dissatisfaction and deepening frustration among PoJK residents.
