đź’¨ Abstract
Residents of Baghardu, a locality in Pakistan-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan, protested against frequent power outages that are severely impacting daily life, particularly during harsh winter months. The outages affect heating, water supply, and education, and are endangering health and livelihoods. Protesters demand immediate action from the local government and electricity department to repair and upgrade aging infrastructure for reliable electricity.
