💨 Abstract

Russia and China held defense and military talks to strengthen their partnership, with both countries criticizing U.S. influence in Asia. Russia's Defense Minister Andrei Belousov met with China's Central Military Commission Vice Chairman, Zhang Youxia, for "substantive" discussions. Both sides aim to deepen and expand military relations. The talks took place as China's military threatened action against Taiwan following war games.
