💨 Abstract
Ukraine launched an attack on Russia's Belgorod region using six U.S.-made ATACMS missiles, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The attack occurred on Thursday, and Russia claims to have intercepted all missiles with no casualties or damage. Moscow has stated it will respond to any attacks using ATACMS or British-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles. Russia has previously retaliated with a new hypersonic missile, Oreshnik.
