💨 Abstract

The Azerbaijan Airlines Flight 8432, carrying 67 passengers and crew, crashed in Kazakhstan on December 26. Preliminary investigations suggest a Russian missile fired during a drone operation in Grozny, Russia, hit the aircraft mid-flight, causing the crash. The damaged plane was denied landing permission at any Russian airports and had to continue towards Aktau.
