The U.S. has imposed sanctions on six Russian oil tankers still under construction by Zvezda shipyard, a first for pre-construction sanctions. The outgoing Biden administration's move aims to harm Russia's oil exports and hinder its fleet building. The sanctions target 183 vessels, including the Nursultan Nazarbayev, Alexander Beggrov, Alexey Bogolyubov, and three unnamed tankers.
