Russian President Vladimir Putin has begun a visit to Turkmenistan, attending an international conference in Ashgabat where he will discuss the Middle East situation with regional leaders and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Putin was seen arriving at the conference venue and shaking hands with the Turkmen leader, Serdar Berdymukhamedov.
