💨 Abstract
Israeli researchers are developing eco-friendly alternatives to traditional chemical pesticides. Their project, a joint effort between Bar-Ilan University and the Volcani Institute, aims to reduce the environmental and health impact of conventional crop protection methods while addressing growing plant disease challenges. The researchers use computational modeling and experimental science to create compounds that inhibit pathogen virulence without killing them, minimizing ecological damage and antibiotic resistance.
