💨 Abstract
A new study led by Jianhui Li from Guangzhou University in China, based on data from China's Mars rover Zhurong, suggests that Mars may have had an ancient ocean. Ground penetrating radar data from the rover, which probed down to 100 meters below the surface, revealed reflective layers and a shallow dip of rocks that mimic coastal sediments on Earth.
