💨 Abstract
On January 4, the Deputy Commissioner of northwest Pakistan's Kurram district was injured when assailants fired on his convoy. The incident occurred during negotiations for an aid convoy to take food items to the district, days after a peace agreement was reached between warring parties. The Deputy Commissioner and three security personnel were injured, and three protestors were also hurt. Officials suspect local spoilers were involved in the attack, and those responsible will face legal action.
