💨 Abstract

A roof collapse at a railway station in Novi Sad, Serbia on Friday killed 14 people and injured several others. The incident occurred during the day and bodies were recovered throughout the afternoon and evening. The search and rescue operation was complicated due to the weight of the concrete and was expected to continue through the night. The government has promised justice and identified the tragedy as a national disaster. Train services have been halted from the station.
