💨 Abstract

Somalia's armed forces, with international support, killed 29 al-Shabaab militants in Jabad Godane and destroyed terrorist vehicles and weapons in the Middle Shabelle region. Al-Shabaab has been fighting to overthrow the Somali government since 2007. The Defence Ministry thanked its international partners for their assistance in security cooperation and intelligence sharing.
