South Korean authorities attempted to execute an arrest warrant against impeached President Yoon Seok Yeol for insurrection charges related to his Dec. 3 martial law declaration. The first such arrest warrant issued against a sitting South Korean president was initially foiled due to a standoff with security agents and military guards.
