💨 Abstract
South Korea's Transport Minister Park Sang-woo announced his intention to step down over the Dec. 29 crash of a Boeing jet operated by Jeju Air, which killed 179 people. The crash occurred due to a belly-landing and overshooting the runway at Muan International Airport, followed by an explosion upon hitting an embankment. The minister stated that he will try to find the right time to resign after addressing the current situation.
