On Friday, according to IQAir, Southeast Asian cities Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, and Hanoi were among the world's most polluted. The high pollution levels were due to crop burning, industrial pollution, and traffic. In Bangkok, a thick smog was seen, affecting outdoor workers. The Thai government is providing free public transportation and encouraging work-from-home to reduce pollution.
