SpaceX's Starship prototype failed in space during a test launch from Texas on Thursday, eight minutes into flight, setting back the company's rocket development efforts. The new, taller Starship upper stage, with significant upgrades, was lost after separation from the Super Heavy first stage booster. The Super Heavy booster successfully returned to the launchpad.
