Spain's high-speed trains between Madrid and Andalusia resumed on Monday following a cable theft disruption on Sunday. Thousands were left stranded at Madrid's Atocha station due to this "serious act of sabotage," as trains were halted overnight. The disruption occurred during a long weekend and before the Feria festival in Seville.
