💨 Abstract
Sri Lanka's Human Rights Commission has alleged it has been denied access to Rohingya refugees staying at a military camp since last week. The Commission seeks to monitor the detention conditions of Rohingya asylum seekers rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy from distressed boats off the northeastern coast, which the government suspects to be part of a human trafficking racket. The Commission has summoned officials for an explanation on December 31.
