💨 Abstract

A Swiss citizen, aged 64, died by suicide in an Iranian prison on Thursday, accused of spying. The Swiss foreign ministry was informed by Iran about the man's arrest on Dec. 10, who was a tourist and had lived in southern Africa for years. Switzerland has demanded a detailed investigation into his arrest and death, and the repatriation of his body.
