💨 Abstract

After three days of no Chinese activity, Taiwan detected 13 Chinese military aircraft and 3 naval vessels encircling the island on October 5. Eight aircraft crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's southwestern air defense identification zone (ADIZ). This latest incident adds to a series of similar provocations by China in recent months.
