The Quad Summit in Delaware is set to announce the expansion of joint maritime security operations into the Indian Ocean and closer coastguard integration throughout the Indo-Pacific. This expansion, led by India, aims to monitor illegal fishing and activities in waters where China's influence is growing. The Quad partners, US, Australia, India, and Japan, will also start carrying personnel from each other's coastguards on their vessels.
