On Monday, three migrants died and at least 25 more are missing after their boat sank off the Greek island of Samos. The Greek coastguard has rescued five migrants and is continuing a search and rescue operation. This incident occurred in the northwestern part of the island, and Greece has historically been a popular entry point for migrants and refugees from various regions, including the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
