💨 Abstract
Tashi Wangchuk, a Tibetan language rights advocate, was detained for 15 days in China for allegedly spreading false information online. He was arrested by the Internet Police Unit in Qinghai province on October 20 and was released on November 4. Wangchuk was accused of sharing false information on social media since June and was charged with insulting and mocking government departments, and negatively affecting the online environment.
