US President Donald Trump has appointed Indian-American Kush Desai as his Deputy Press Secretary. Desai previously served in communications roles for the Republican National Convention and the Republican Party of Iowa. He played a key role in messaging and narrative building in battleground states, particularly Pennsylvania, during the 2020 election, which Trump won in all seven battleground states.
