President Donald Trump urged global businesses to manufacture in the U.S. to avoid tariffs and benefit from low taxes. He threatened new tariffs for all countries, and said Canada and Mexico could avoid them by becoming the 51st U.S. state or stopping illegal immigration and drug shipments. He also stated his intention to have a "level playing field" with China and criticized their trade practices.
